ASP / NETRC Championship Evening 2016
Our Winners Big Night Out. The final event of the 2016 championship was the annual awards presentation and once again it was held at the Pelaw Grange Stadium, this time on Wednesday 23rdNovember. Another good crowd made it to the ‘do’ to see Scott Martin presenting the trophies to the lucky few. He proved to be an excellent choice as our guest with his very well presented and informative views. A great insight into rallying at the very highest level – Top Man ! We could have talked all night … but there was food to be eaten and alcohol to be consumed.
The good news for next year’s championship is that AS Performance will continue to support the series and this will be their 9th year as title sponsor. The qualifying events for the 2017 calendar remain similar to 2016 with a slightly expanded list of rallies on offer. We hope to add the NHMC Warcop Stages and Jim Clark Rally to our current rounds.
Keep your eyes on the championship website for regulations as we’re just waiting for our permit application to be approved by the MSA.
