Performance Friction at Oregon Trail Rally

Andrew Comrie-Picard got the job done for the Scion xD Rally Team and Performance Friction by winning the 2WD class in the Oregon Trail Rally.

The Scion xD Team has been a force to reckon with this year and the Oregon event was no different with hot shoe ACP behind the wheel with co-driver Jeremy Wimpey. Drivers faced a plethora of weather conditions as the race got off to a dry start but was soon overcome with heavy rains and thunderstorms which forced Rally America officials to cancel some of the later stages of the event.

ACP was in a heated battled for much of the event with 2WD rival Wyatt Knox in his Mazdaspeed 3 entry. ACP was able to hold on to the lead in the closing stages and get his second win in the Oregon Trail Rally. Knox ended up in second place after leading several stages of the race and showing his strength in wet driving conditions. Third place went to driver Dillon Van Way in his Ford Fiesta. The victory was the fourth pro motorsports victory for Performance Friction in the same weekend.
